Bicentennial Garden Dedication

On this day, Mooresville, the first town incorporated by the Territorial Legislature of Alabama on November 16, 1818, celebrates its Bicentennial.
This Town map, rendered in classic bronze and mounted on quarried limestone, depicts the streets as they were first drawn and remain today.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and encompassing the space of one-quarter square mile, Mooresville is home to fifty-one residentson the day of this two hundred year tribute.
Historic Mooresville’s Bicentennial Garden dedication was led by Mayor Margaret-Anne Crumlish assisted by Alabama Senator Arthur Orr, and Mooresville’s residents Eliza McCrary, Katie Anne Mitchell, and Chandler Sprader
