Enjoy a free, 45-minute guided walking tour each Saturday in April, presented by the Alabama Department of Tourism. Tours begin at 9:45 a.m. at the Historic Post Office and highlight the early history of Historic Mooresville. Guests will step inside three treasured town-owned landmarks and hear the stories behind them: the Stagecoach Tavern (circa 1821), the Brick Church (circa 1839), and the Post Office (circa 1840).
Arrive at the Historic Post Office at 9:45 am if you choose to see inside. Walking tours begin promptly at 10:00 am.
Dress: Casual and warm with comfortable shoes. Walking required. Open buildings are not wheelchair accessible.
Parking: Provided in the front of town.
Restrooms: Please be advised: There are NO public restrooms in Mooresville.
